Terms of use
Last updated 7 November 2026
In short: SyncToCRM is a business tool, free while in beta. Use it for your own work, follow LinkedIn's and HubSpot's terms, and keep a lawful reason for the contacts you save. The contacts are yours. We do our best to keep it working, but LinkedIn and HubSpot can change things without notice.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the SyncToCRM browser extension, the website synctocrm.com and any related service ("SyncToCRM"). SyncToCRM is provided by Qkumo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12948561, whose registered office is at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("Qkumo", "we", "us").
By installing or using SyncToCRM you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you confirm you can accept them for that company, and "you" includes it. Please also read our privacy policy.
2. Who can use SyncToCRM
SyncToCRM is for business and professional use by people aged 18 or over. To use it you need your own LinkedIn account and your own HubSpot account, and a supported browser (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge).
3. The beta
SyncToCRM is in beta and free to use. Features may change, be added or be removed, and it may sometimes not work as expected. Please tell us when it doesn't. We may end the beta, or the free use of SyncToCRM, by telling you in advance by email or in the extension.
4. Paid plans
Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan. Before paid plans start we'll add their prices, billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms to these terms and tell beta users in advance. A paid plan's price is always shown before you subscribe.
5. Your licence
While you follow these terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use SyncToCRM for your own business purposes. We may end this licence as described in section 15.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break LinkedIn's or HubSpot's terms, or any law, when you use SyncToCRM;
- save or keep anyone's details without a lawful reason, or ignore the data protection laws that apply to you;
- use SyncToCRM to send spam, or to contact people who've asked not to be contacted;
- automate, script, speed up or bulk-run SyncToCRM, or combine it with tools that scrape LinkedIn or act on it for you;
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or modify SyncToCRM, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
- interfere with SyncToCRM, try to get around its limits or security, or use it to build a competing product.
7. LinkedIn, HubSpot and other services
SyncToCRM works with services we don't own or control, mainly LinkedIn and HubSpot. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. SyncToCRM isn't affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn or HubSpot, and LinkedIn and HubSpot are trademarks of their owners.
SyncToCRM only reads the LinkedIn page you have open, when you use it, and never acts on LinkedIn for you. Even so, we aren't responsible for decisions LinkedIn or HubSpot make about your accounts, or for changes they make to their sites and services that stop SyncToCRM working until we update it.
8. Your data and your contacts
The contacts, companies, notes and messages you save belong to you, or the company you work for, and are stored in your HubSpot account. You're responsible for them as their controller under data protection law. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
9. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve SyncToCRM without paying you or naming you.
10. Our intellectual property
SyncToCRM, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights in it beyond the licence in section 5.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep SyncToCRM available and to fix problems quickly, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or able to read every detail on every page. We may change SyncToCRM, for example to keep up with LinkedIn and HubSpot or to improve it. Please check important records in your CRM.
12. Disclaimer
SyncToCRM is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't give any promises or warranties beyond those in these terms, including that it will suit a particular purpose.
13. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that can't be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to that, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for actions LinkedIn, HubSpot or other services take on your accounts. Our total liability to you for all claims connected with SyncToCRM in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period and £100.
14. Indemnity
If you use SyncToCRM for a business, you'll compensate us for reasonable losses and costs from third-party claims caused by your breach of these terms, of LinkedIn's or HubSpot's terms, or of data protection law, for example a claim from someone whose details you saved without a lawful reason. We'll tell you about any such claim promptly and let you take part in handling it. This section doesn't apply to consumers.
15. Suspension and ending
You can stop using SyncToCRM at any time by removing the extension. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if your use puts other users, LinkedIn or HubSpot accounts or SyncToCRM at risk, or if the law requires it. If we end SyncToCRM altogether, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance where we can. The sections on your data, feedback, intellectual property, the disclaimer, liability, indemnity, general terms and governing law continue to apply after your use ends.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when paid plans start or the law changes. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the extension at least 30 days before they take effect, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you keep using SyncToCRM after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can stop using it.
17. If you're a consumer
SyncToCRM is meant for business use. If you use it as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
18. General
- These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about SyncToCRM.
- You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to another company, for example if our business is sold, and your rights won't be reduced.
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
- We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- We'll send notices to the email address you gave us or show them in the extension. Send notices to us at support@synctocrm.com.
19. Governing law and courts
These terms, and any dispute or claim connected with them or with SyncToCRM, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings there.
