Surfe alternative for HubSpot: Surfe vs SyncToCRM
What Surfe (surfe.com) and SyncToCRM each do for getting LinkedIn people into HubSpot, what they cost, and who should pick which. We make SyncToCRM; facts about Surfe are from its own pages, checked on 7 November 2026.
Short answer
SyncToCRM is an alternative to Surfe for HubSpot teams that want to save LinkedIn people without paying for data. It has no credits and no daily cap during the beta; Surfe's free plan adds one contact a day, and Essential is $49 per user a month ($39 billed yearly) with 150 email and 50 mobile credits.
Stay with Surfe if you need email and phone finding, Pipedrive, Salesforce or Copper, or its sales-tool integrations.

Where Surfe is stronger
- Finds and validates emails and mobile numbers.
- Works with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Copper.
- Connects to Google Sheets, and on Pro to Salesloft, Outreach and lemlist.
- The most-used tool in this category: about 40,000 Chrome Web Store users (6 November 2026).
What SyncToCRM does differently
- No credits and no daily limit on adding contacts.
- Flat price after the beta, from $9 a month.
- Never overwrites a HubSpot field, and checks for the person by LinkedIn address, member ID and email before every create.
- Flags job changes when you open the profile of someone already in HubSpot.
What it doesn't do: find emails or phone numbers, or work with CRMs other than HubSpot yet (Pipedrive, Attio and Zoho are planned). It's in beta.
Which one to pick
Stay with Surfe if: You use Surfe to find contact details, work across several CRMs, or rely on its sequencing integrations.
Try SyncToCRM if: You're on HubSpot and mainly add people from LinkedIn, so you're paying for credits you rarely use.
Switching from Surfe
- Install SyncToCRM in Chrome or Edge and connect your HubSpot account in its settings.
- Open a LinkedIn profile of someone already in HubSpot. If their LinkedIn address is in HubSpot's built-in LinkedIn URL property, or their email matches, the button shows View in HubSpot. If Surfe saved the address to a different property, check that before relying on the duplicate check.
- Keep only one tool creating contacts, so two tools don't race to add the same person.
